The circulatory system
When you buy
groceries at the store, you need to get them home. The easiest way to do that
is to put the groceries in your car and drive them to your house. Just like you
need way to carry things inside of you. Your body uses the blood vessels. To
move things like oxygen, nutrients and cell wastes around your body.
There are no roads inside of you; instead, your body uses circulatory
system to travel to every cell in your body, so you have a lot of them.
To keep you blood moving through the blood vessels, you body uses a
pump. This pump is called the heart. You heart is in the left side of your
chest. It´s about as big as your fist.
This experiment procedure:
1-Make a hole in the middle of the bottle with the scissors (warm up
with a candle) to put the straw in the plastic bottle.
2-Put glue around the straw to close the hole completely. Wait 5 min.
3-Fill the bottle with water. You can use a funnel to do it.
4-Blow a balloon and carefully, put it on the top of the bottle.
